Notebook computers are used and are seen quite often these days. Its recognition is high because of its attractive and gorgeous look. Besides look it is also known well for its flexibility and versatility. Laptop computers are extremely suitable for those who travel a lot and those who need to work in multi locations. Before the invention of laptops, it was very difficult to work in multi locations. People need to go to the cyber places to perform their job. If they are traveling then there is really no means of keeping their work updated. Their work suffers and time gets wasted. But laptops bring an end to such issues. The hard drives and the flash drives carried externally can store a huge amount of data. This assists you in working with that light weight machine. You can configure your notebook computer the way you like and want. With it you can do work, go on surfing the net and even watch movies and listen to music.Recently, there has been a huge drop in the price of laptops while performance has increased. There are however some compromises that you need to make. The desktop computers are priced lower than a well configured laptop with some overall flexibility. Just for the portability that you can carry it wherever you want, you need to pay a premium amount for it. For the comfort of using it, you have to incur the notebook computer penalties. Desktop computers are easier to upgrade than laptops. Laptops don't provide as much space for memory.
Another important diadvantage is that it lasts for only 2 to 3 years if it is a good make and is used under average treatment. Laptops are generally more fragile than desktops. Even the life span of laptops is shorter than that of normal desktops. But the prime disadvantage of a laptop that is creating health hazards is that it is creating worse ergonomics, as the keyboard and the screen in not in the best place for wrists and eyes. So there a number of disadvantages to counter the single most advantage of a laptop.
